SUMMARY:Walk a Mile in My Shoes 2025
DESCRIPTION:Help us celebrate National White Cane Safety Day\, by joining us for our annual Walk A Mile in My Shoes on Saturday\, October 11th from 10am – 3pm at Lake Mayer Community Park in Savannah\, Georgia. \n\n\n\nThis Peer Group planned walk will allow you to show your support and get a better understanding of blindness or vision impairment. \n\n\n\nLearn more about National White Cane Safety Day. \n\n\n\n\n\nHow do you get involved?\n\n\n\nPut a team of 10 people together and have each person raise $100. This $1\,000  will cover your registration\, your food/drinks\, entertainment\, and a signature tee for the event.  It’s easy and very rewarding. \n\n\n\nThis is a fundraiser/awareness campaign for the Savannah Center for Blind and Low Vision.  For more information\, contact Jessica Adger at 912-236-4473 or jadger@savannahcblv.org
